Soccer Leagues

Updated to include 2017/18 Fall & Winter programs

JUST 4 FUN - 4 v 4 MICRO SOCCER for AGES 6, 7 and 8 
(Concept endorsed by US Soccer Federation)
  1. Play across width in one half of large field
  2. Mini goals with no goalkeepers
  3. Maximum 6 players on roster
  4. Team Fee: $400 (max 6 players, do not receive shirts)
  5. Individual fee (to be placed on house team): $80
There will be 6 one hour sessions on Saturday mornings consisting of 25 minutes of skill training by SS staff coaches, followed by three 12 minutes periods of 4v4 action. This program has a track record of developing players that are typically ahead of their peers when it comes time to tryout for the various local club teams.

Session 1: Nov. 4 - Dec. 16; 6 Saturdays

Indoor Leagues - Youth (ages 6-19)

All Youth leagues will be comprised of single birth years (except U-16 & U-19). If an insufficient number of

teams sign up in one age group, we will go to double birth years. Please see page below for information on

game days and age groups. 

 

Indoor Leagues – Adults

 

  1. Men’s Open - One division, age 19 and up
  2. Men over 35 (age 35 or over at start of session, 2 underage players over 30 are allowed per team)
  3. Women’s Open - One division, ages 19 and up
  4. Coed Open - ages 19 and up

League Play

Each session will consist of 8 games. The Soccer Stop tries our best to put teams in the appropriate division.

We reserve the right to move teams into divisions that we feel are best appropriate.

*** NEW Special for Select/Premier clubs teams U13+ and large rosters (16+) can register two

teams for the price of $1500 total.  A few extra players outside of the team can be added if

needed, 80% of roster must be belong to outdoor team. Players can dual roster as well. Player

cards may be checked.

 

CHAMPIONS T-SHIRTS

We are excited to bring back the old tradition of handing out session champion t-shirts to

division winners. If your team has won a league championship you will be contacted by SSS

staff to get shirt sizes for the number of players listed on your roster. If your team does not

turn in  roster, they will be ineligible from receiving t-shirts. Also, only players playing in 4 or

more games should receive t-shirts. If subs are listed on the roster, it is up to the coach/

coordinator to honestly assess which of their players have played the required number of games.

As of now, teams will only receive a t-shirt the first time they win a session during the 3 sessions

of indoor soccer. We may offer something different for teams winning 2 or 3 sessions.

 

3 SESSION SPECIAL

NOTE: Teams MUST pay in full by October 22, 2017 to qualify for this special discount
- NO EXCEPTIONS, training sessions no longer included
 

 

Registration Information

  • A non refundable $300 deposit is due at time of registration (for league signups)
  • Each soccer league consists of 8 games, practice hours are not included in the fee. Practice time must                                 be paid for and booked separately
  • Individuals registering will be placed on a house team, or the Soccer Stop will make every effort                                     possible to place that player on an existing team
  • Balance is due by first game, unpaid balances will result in forfeiture and may result in removal from                               league. $50 LATE FEE WILL BE APPLIED TO ANY TEAM NOT PAYING THEIR BALANCE IN FULL                                ON THE DATE OF THEIR FIRST GAME.
  • Individual checks from team members will not be accepted. Team coordinator is responsible for                                          submitting entire payment.
  • Roster/Waiver form must be completed in its entirety by the 2nd game
  • When completed, schedules will be available online on the website. Coordinators will be emailed when                                  they are finished.
  • Players may play in older division but no more than 2 years up, except for U15 playing U18
  • Cleats and turf shoes are not allowed. Only flat-soled shoes may be worn on the turf. Players not in                                compliance wll receive a yellow card.
  • Shinguards are required for all soccer players. Players not in compliance wll receive a yellow card.
  • Rescheduled game requests must be submitted at least one week prior to scheduled date. A fee of $25                                    will be charged to team requesting change. Game reschedules requested within one week will not be                            changed.
  • Coed teams must have 2 females as field players at all times. Goalkeepers do not count towards the 2                                players.
  • High School age division (U-16 & U-19) must have minimum of 1 adult coach of at least 25 years of age                        present in player-box
  • Proof of age must be submitted upon request from Soccer Stop management
  • If teams are wearing the same color, the team listed as "home" will be responsible for changing jerseys                                  or wearing pennies
  • Home team responsible for game ball. Soccer balls kicked or thrown outside of the field will be                                        confiscated
  • No gum chewing allowed in the facility
  • WEATHER CANCELLATION POLICY: We rarely will close the Soccer Stop for winter weather. In the                                       event weather is severe enough for us to cancel activities, we will leave a message on our voicemail                                   that can be heard by calling 616-393-7768. 
 

Need a Team?

We welcome individuals to sign up for a STOP house team. Players from other teams can sign-up for additional

teams to have more fun and meet new friends. Each house team will be coached by a Soccer Stop staff coach

& receive a Soccer Stop shirt. 

Drop-in Soccer

Please check our schedule (will be on Wednesdays, time - TBD) a week prior to each session for drop in soccer

for adults and youth players. If you want to get more playing time drop in at the designated day and time.

Games will be organized by Soccer Stop Staff. FEE: $5 per player. You can pay at front desk 15 min. prior to

start of session.
 

INDOOR SOCCER LEAGUE SCHEDULE

(subject to change, this only a tentative guide) We've listed several days for each league to not box ourself in, if your team is not available on one of the days listed, please make note of that when you register, weekday slots will be determined for each league based on what works best for all teams. Youth typically plays mostly Saturdays with 1 consistent weekday, adults are mostly Sundays with one consistent weekday
