New Soccer Training Programs
Spring Break Soccer Clinic
Monday 4/5 through Thursday 4/08
U8 - U12: 5 - 6:30 pm
U13+: 6:30 - 8 pm
Technical training program for players of all skills levels. Soccer Stop coaches will focus on a different skill set every day including 1v1 moves, first touch, finishing, and more
$90 per player
Each hour session will consist of 25 minutes of skill training followed by 30 minutes of small sided games
Session 2: Saturday Mornings Mar 20 - April 24th (No class on 4/03 and 4/10)
individual fee: $60
Small-sided soccer is played by and for children, and is endorsed by the U.S. Soccer Federation. Our program will allow kids to get numerous more touches on the ball compared to an 8v8 game. More
ball contact, less bunching, more learning, more fun.
This program has a track record of developing players that are typically ahead of their peers when it comes time to tryout for club-level teams.
As we get back to games, it is very
important that we do so safely. Keeping our patrons, referees and staff healthy is our top priority but it will take a group effort. Things went well during the brief start we had in November but it
was obvious that some folks took our rules more seriously than others. Given the importance of maintaining safety and the ability to remain open, deviation from our guidelines will not longer be
tolerated. Please inform your teams/participants of the following COVID-related policies; and do your part as an individual and leader to make sure your teams/participants are in
compliance.
1. If you are sick or have a fever, STAY HOME
2. Masks are to be worn at all times inside the building. Masks must cover nose and mouth. Masks must be
of a material supporting CDC guidelines. If you cannot or will not wear a mask correctly, we cannot allow you to be in the facility.
3. Spectators are limited. Siblings are considered spectators (sibling spectators are prohibited unless absolutely necessary). Parent coaches are consider as spectators. All spectators must wear a mask and practice social
distancing
League Games
U15 and Below - 2 spectators per player
U16 and Up - 1 spectator
Adult - NO spectators
Rentals
Youth rentals U19 and Below - 1 spectator
Adult rental - NO spectators
4. Enter the facility no earlier than 5
minutes before start time. This was our biggest issue during November - usually due to folks not being made aware of this policy from their team managers.
5. Players should arrive at the facility
ready to play. Changing of clothes can not be done in the facility.
6. Exit the facility immediately after your game ends. Do not gather or socialize inside the
building.
7. Practice social distancing at all times as is practical.
8. No seating is provided. Spectators
may bring their own chair.
If we follow these policies we are confident in being able to run our games safely. Please do your part
informing and monitoring your groups. We can't thank you enough for all of your
patience and support through this. We look forward to seeing everyone again through the next few weeks.
The Soccer Stop Sportsplex COVID Perspective
The owners and staff of the Soccer Stop Sportsplex are truly thankful to play a role in our community. We are driven to provide our local athletes with access to programs and competition that
is safe, fun, and community-based. We take the responsibilities that surround this very seriously. We have taken steps to ensure that we create an environment that is safe for our
athletes and patrons during these COVID-restricted times. Further, it must be understood that we must take these steps in order to be allowed to be open and functioning. Requirements
aside, we feel that the modifications that we have made to our facility, programs, and rules are absolutely necessary and will be upheld out of our sense of responsibility to everyone that enters the
Soccer Stop, including our staff. We also feel strongly that everyone that enters the Soccer Stop must also embrace that sense of responsibility. By taking this approach, we all (as a
community) will do all we can to keep programs open to all, participants as safe as possible, and the Soccer Stop a place for continued fun and unity.
Weather Cancellation Policy
It is our policy at Soccer Stop to generally stay open for any and all teams that would like to play. If bad weather hits and it looks like it is not safe to travel in your area, please call your coach so that they can contact us and determine what actions should be taken concerning your game. It is our desire for all of our customers to be safe. We also want to make sure you get all the games for your session in during the time frames listed for the sessions. If we have games that cancel, we will post cancellations here.
The Soccer Stop Sportsplex is a multi-sport, multi-purpose indoor sports facility. We offer leagues, tournaments, and instruction for soccer, football, baseball, softball, lacrosse, and more.
